WNR834B as a wireless receiver
I am just mind boggled by the terminology that is all over the place. I have an Actiontec modem/wireless/ router that has a good signal. I currently mostly use it to hard wire to my desktops. I need to move that modem a short distance but I can’t hard wire to it anymore. I would like to use this WRN834B as a wireless receiver (actually a transceiver to be accurate) that will allow me to plug my PC’s into it for their internet service. Will it do that and if so exactly what do I need to do to accomplish this? Or do I need to use DD-WRT? Thanks to anyone that can make this simple for me.
