WPNT834 - wireless connection comes and goes
Recently our WPNT834 became unable to access the internet via our cable modem. I tried powering off and on the modem, the WPNT834, the computers, etc. without success. Then I reset the WPNT834 (as directed by Netgear support in an earlier communication) and internet access was restored for the computers that were connected via Ethernet cables.
However, the wireless connection is now intermittent. My iPod touch and our Mac can "see" the wireless network, but they cannot always connect, and if they do connect, the connection may drop at any time.
My basic settings are
No login required
Get IP address dynamically from ISP
Get DNS address automatically from ISP
Use Computer MAC adddress
My wireless settings include
Region - United States
Channel - 6
Mode G&G
Security - WEP
Access control is unchecked
Any suggestions?

use channel any 1,6,11 that would not conflict with other channel been used - EAMAspirantI am using channel 6, as I have done in the past. I am not currently picking up WiFi signals from our neighbors.

There used to be one or two, but our Mac does not see them anymore.
I resolved the problem by setting the wireless setting to maximum range rather than good range and speed. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoI see... enjoy :)
