wrong password

I have recently bought the wifi range extender EX2700|N300, I've set it up through WPS and everything looks as it should. However, when i type the password for the orginal router (as it says) ...
Try resetting the extender, and this time don't use WPS. You'll see a network called NETGEAR_EXT, which you join. You then browse to www.mywifiext.net to complete the setup.
