AC 1900 wifi range extenser EX6400 v3

Purchased Sept 2021

 

Through process of elimination, the intermintent dropping of internet connection appears to be with the Range extender model listed above.

 

Its not the cable signal and its not my laptop and corp settings.

 

Dropping coonection repeatly during zoom meeting or just checking email.

 

Suggestions?

 

Is there a software download I can do or a factory resetting?

  • What router are you connecting it to? 

    what firmware is on the extender? 

    How far from the router is the extender? 

    Whats in between the extender and the router (walls, what the walls are made of, etc)

    What speeds do you pay for (upstream and downstream)?

    If you test your speed on the extender, what speeds are you getting for: 2.4gh? 5ghz?

    Did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant?
