AC1200 / R6120 2.4 wireless NOT working

Hi  Looking for some ideas. Unboxed this router and reset the 2.4 and 5 SSID and password.  I was unable to connect the 2.4.  I did a factory reset.  The 5 connects, the 2.4 does NOT.

 

Suggestions?

    What error do you get? 

    do all devices have issues or just one?

    any special characters in the ssid/password? (try removing them if you do)

      Thanks for the idea.  Yes the smart phone can connect to the 2.4. 

      Windows 10 Laptop gives a Can't Connect error.
