AC1450 power light flashing after firmware update

I tried updating firmware and I think the update failed and now the power light is flashing continuously.  Cannot access via lan cable and wireless signal is not functioning.

  • BKKbob Those steps should help you. Did you still proceed with the rest of the step even you didn't get a blinking green power LED?

If that step didn't help, see this other link for a different TFTP step.

Thanks to ElaineM for providing detailed instructions.

I tried following the steps in the link (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22688/~/how-to-upload-firmware-to-a-netgear-router-using-tftp), but when I got to step 5 through 10, I was not able to get a "flashing green" power LED.  When holding down the reset button and turning on the power, all 4 LED's came on momentarily, then all went off except the power LED which then began flashing beige/yellow.  All lights then go off and the reset sequence starts again.  I tried doing the reset first without the DSL internet cable attached, and then with the internet cable attached.

Any ideas on how to perform a successful reset and get a solid green or blinking green power LED?
