AC1750 Smart Wifi router can't set WAN port 100 full
I am connecting to a static IP.
After putting in the IP settings (Static IP address) the router doesn't get the speeds set by internet provider (Logix Communications).
After consultation with Logix I was told that the WAN needs to be set at "100 Full" and I couldn't find that setting on the device.
So right now instead of a 50mbps up/down I am getting 10mbps download and 50mbps upload, so I assume the current WAN settings are "Auto" on the WAN of the AC1750 Router and cannot be modified?
So now I am getting data collisions and slower internet than expected.
I need to find out if this is fixable or to return this product for refund. I updated the firmware to latest, still no dice.
I've confirmed my internet provider has no issues with a much older Linksys router with WAN set to "100 Full".
Thanks.

Thanks.Just a heads up.. No home router vendors provide ports that you can manually configure, they all use auto negotiation settings. So, your ISP will have to to set their port speed to auto, or provide you a router that supports port speed settings..

The Ports are auto, meaning No settings to select.
You can view connection status in router setup
You can test ports by connecting any LAN port to WAN port.
Try a new cable.

Try speed test without router. Connect device directly to modem. Do you get full speed?
I'd try this first.

Router has 1Gbit rated port with auto negotiating. It is like that for ages.
If ISP says set it to 100 full it means 100 Mbit full duplex. What is this?
Are they asking downgrading the WAN port capability? I don't get it.

It is switching speed 100Mb full duplex. The provider's speed should be 50mbps up and down. (megabytes)
I stuck in a dumb 10/100 switch just as a test and also tried a crossover cable both after teh WAN of teh router and before the provider' cable drop, still nada...or misconfigured speed 10mbps down/50mbps up.
Connecting a PC directly to provider gets the quoted speed 50mbps down and up.
I've been able to successfully connect with a RV042 Linksys modem which can set its WAN to "100 Full" and I get the quoted speeds. I don't want to use this one as it doesn't have wi-fi but if I have to I will.
So far the only solution I have found it to get a managed switch where I can set its outgoing port to "100 Full" and stick it between my internet provider and the
R6400 router.
As far as I've read it seems like this seems to differentiate the home ma and pa routers from the real gear (pro), and quite disappointing as older routers like the RV042 had that capability and newer ones have dropped it and I am sure it isn't really hard to program it in. Maybe another router with open source software will have it? Not sure...My buddy that's in IT support suggested a few routers that are upwards of $800, it comes out cheaper with a switch in between or I'll just use the old RV042.
Meanwhile the provider will check its cabling again as when they set to "Auto" the ports on their end the signal drops and disappears.
I have swapped everything with new cables, even put them through cable testers to verify, all checks OK. It is the router that is the issue. Tried to jump ship to ASUS router, it has the same problem so it must be the consumer grade routers that seem to have this problem.
