ac1750 wont turn green

I have a ac1750 that's a little older and no matter how close I have it to my wifi router or reset it, it will not turn green it only stays amber and will not change can someone please help me

  • According to the doc of the EX6250 (this is your extender, right?), there is no mention of green LEDs, only White, Amber and Red. White is "best" connection, Amber is "good" connection and Red is "poor" connection.

    Which LED is this?

     

    If you mean the LEDs on the Ethernet port, that is usually a speed indicator for the connected device. Amber = 100 Mbps, Green = 1000 Mbps.

     

     

  • Like michaelkenward says, what LED is amber? 

    That's the key as if its the power one, its got some issues (like corrupt firmware) versus if its one of the others.
