AirBNB New WiFi connection Created but - can't Find in Admin Page to Update Firmware
Hi, the internet provider in my Airbnb was changed to a new provider recently. The installers have created two new 2.4 and 5 Wi-Fi connections which work fine. I have finally been able to visit the property after the lifting of Covid travel restrictions and I am trying to upgrade the firmware on the R6400 router. I can access the Admin page with a cable but can only see the old Wi-Fi connection (which is not connecting to the internet). I can see the router's firmware need updating but I can't connect using the old Wi-Fi connection and I can't access the new 2.4 and 5 Wi-Fi connections in 192.168.1.1.
Any suggestions please?

If you have 2 seperate connections, it sounds like your installers installed a new modem/router combo device and not just a modem.
What actual gateway did they install (model)?
What firmware is on the R6400?
Were you having issues with it? Reason I ask is the latest versions have been causing issues with some and if yours was working fine, it might not be worth updating.
You can always manually update.

- TommycatzAspirantThanks, I discovered after posting, a new router has been installed in a cupboard which is used for the TV cable channels too. So the netgear router is now redundant and hence why I could not find the new network in the netgear admin page. Cheers
