assigning ip address
I have 2 questions.
1) Some of my attached devices dont have an ip address assigned to them This is after using them, working fine. Most of my attached show the Ip address that is assigned by the router but a few dont.
2) Is there a way to have the log save more than a few hours of events? At times the network goes down but by the time I know about it the log doesnt show any info because the event was too old.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What devices are connecting to the router?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Might set up email of logs:
- mrpat3TutorThanks for chiming in. Firmware is v1.0.0.523 devices show up as connected but no IP address. One is a label printer that I THINK have set up to a static IP because it used to drop out if powered down . Should be .200 but since the router doesnt display the IP I dont know. But it works. One other is an old linksys wrt54g that I reloaded with ddwrt software and use it as kind of a range extender down at the barn. The 3rd I dont know what it is as I havent tied all the mac address devices with a name so I can track them. The Modem is an ARRIS sb6183 with comcastAnd for that email of the log, I dont have that button like it says i should for email of logs. Not there. And there are no neighbors nearby of any consequence...
