Bad customer Service

I just called the customer Service line as my I bought a new Somfy device that needs to utilize IFTTT and the only way they would help is if I paid $149.00 as my customer service contract expirred. Prior to him HANGING UP on me he explained that I needed a new contract and I was explaining that the router was blocking this from being set up and IFFT is not new. This is terrible and after spending $600 on this 2 years ago I should be able to use my router for automation. While I was expalining the router settings just blocked me he just hung up.

Why would I pay $150 to just use my router it is nuts!!!

  • You're out of warranty and support period. Support is only free for the first 90 days. Its on the box. Its not hidden.

I don't know of a company that will provide free technical advise 2 years after a product has been purchased to get another companies product working.

but you do have the option of using this communities forum as well as the somfy support and community to get it working.

did you check with somfy since its their product on getting it working?

Or if its an actual IFTTT issue, check with the IFTTT community?
