Cannot connect to router after firmware update and factory reset

I upgraded to latest firmware on my R6250 router and now I cannot connect to the router to restore the PPPoE settings required for login to my ISP. I have all macs and no ethernet ports. How can I resolve this?! I tried using routerlogin.net and http://192.168.1.1 to no avail. I can only get to a page telling me "You are not connected to your Router’s WiFi network."

  • Thanks Dexter. I did a reset on my router and restored my settings from backup. Unfortunately I was still not able to connect. I did another reset and tediously re-entered all my settings from scratch and its working! Yay!

  • When I log in to my centurylink OTN I can see my router listed at an IP address, but that IP address times out when I try to access it.

      Hi tammyism,

You can try resetting the router then going through the setup again.
