Can't find my network?

Internet is working fine on desktop computer, but can't access the wifi. When I search for my network on a wireless device, the network doesn't even show up anymore. It was working fine yesterday. I've already tried to unplug and reset everything. On the desktop netgear genie it is saying under WiFi connection that the status is not enabled

Please help! Been searching and trying stuff for hours now :(

  • Hi alisha2602,

    1. Are the 2.4GHz and 5GHz LED's lit? If not, try pressing the WiFi on/off button on the front panel as described on page 10 and 11 on the user manual linked below.

    2. The wired desktop computer may not be WiFi capable and that's the reason the Genie indicates that it is not enabled.

    3. Please try using other wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).
