Can't login to admin settings

Hey, so, I just got this router, and for some reason the default username/password arn't working.  I've factory reset the router multiple times with no devices  or the modem connected.  Following the settup wizard that appears when you connect your first device will eventually just lock me out and request the login info, which does not work.

I have also tried loging in using the SSID and WI-FI password, and mixing and matching those with the default admin credentials both as listed on the website and in the manual--nothing worked.  I've tried logging in using "192.168.1.1" and "routerlogin.net", both produce the same results.  Attempting login too many times will result in a 401 error.  I have also tried logging in from another device, whcih had no effect.

I should also note that the wifi password does work, and so does wifi.

Any ideas?  Sorry if it's a bit messy;  this is really frustrating.
