Can't update 6300v2 / file is incorrect
Trying to update 6300v2 router but it says file is incorrect. Tried a lot of different firmwares from this page https://www.netgear.com/support/download/?model=R6300v2
Tried to update automatically by connecting to netgear servers but nothing happens

Your subject isn't clear. Which 6300v2 ? R, C or D.

What says "file is incorrect"? How are you going about the update?

Remember, the download is a zip file that you have to unpack. You then have to "load" the firmware file into the router. You cant just "open" it.
What firmware is actually on it?
There was a R6300v2 that was direct sold to ISP's with the ISP's own firmware on it.
So knowing what version your on helps to determine if it was one of those R6300v2s.
