Capped at 100mbps
Hi everyone, needing help with my NetGear 3500RP WiFi Extender. I have AT&T 300 internet and was receiving around 300mbps hard lined into my WiFi extender. I went through and changed the name & password of my WiFi and now I can’t get over 100mbps. I’ve reset the extender numerous times, I updated it, along with getting a new modem and router from AT&T. I’ve also been through the majority of my settings on my desktop and changed them as well, to no avail. The extender is receiving 300mbps but my computer only receives 100mbps from the extender, even though the output is set to 300. When I get into the extender and look, the LAN is at 100 and is maxed. So what do I do from here?

The max link speed set is the PHY rate of the wireless radio, not the Ethernet interface. If you have seen higher link rates on your computer before, this was impossibly on the Ethernet link, much more the wireless interface.
