I was able to solve this issue by going onto the Windows 7 forums and found that I needed to delete the WIFI account that I had originally created. Then reinsert it with the new password. It all worked and is up and running.

When you tried to connect what message do you get? What is the model of WiFi card in the laptop? What password protocol, WPA2-AES? Some OLD WiFi card is not compatible with newer WPA2-AES protocol. Also see if the WiFi card has new driver available.

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Message: "Ethernet cable is not properly plugged in or might be broken." Just got this one for first time today while rechecking this after you asked these questions.
Message: "Windows cannot resolve your wireless connectivity issue." This has been the message all morning.
Password Protocol: WPA-PSK(TKIP)+WPA2-PSK(AES)
I do not find a WIFI card. I did find driver and checked for up-to-date and it is.
