Changing password on Netgear R6120
Help! I have tried changing the password on the router. I have a Netgear Router R6120. I have tried doing a factory reset 6 times. I have entered Admin and Password each time and keep getting directed to enter. The serial # and then I have to anwser the security questions. What is the Oldest sister's first name? What is the younest brother's first name? I have searched the online manuals and found only to do a manual reset. Which does nothing for me. I have tried to reset the password from my laptop and from my cellphone. But to no luck I am striking out.I have changed the settings on my laptop to private and still no luck. Please help!

Have you tried a different browser?
When you first set it up, you have to change the password and setup your security questions.
Make sure you're filling everything out.

It should be admin and password. No caps.
If you are trying to use the "password recovery" option, there is a bug in Netgear's implementation of password recovery on some devices. You can get locked into a closed loop.
If password recovery is enabled, but you have not set the answers to the questions, it keeps sending you back to the beginning of the process. If you haven't already given the thing your personal answers, they are not in its memory and it has no way of knowing if they are correct. Is this how you were doing the reset?

I ask because some people confuse reboot (power on and off) with reset.
How are you connected to the router?
