Copying files to external drive really slow after firm ware update.
Before I upgraded the firmware to version V1.0.0.32 files would copy to my external hard drive and 2-3 Mbytes/sec, but know it maxes out a 150kb/sec! :smileysad: I have no idea what else it could be other than the firmware upgrade as nothing else has changed. Oh, my Router model is WNDR4300v2. This model doesn't seem to be in your model dropdown list.
Thanks in advance!
XULACS96 You can only revert the firmware by downloading it from the website and upload it through the admin page of the router.
It's the same instructions as the firmware upgrade but instead you upload the previous version of the firmware.
Resetting the unit does not revert the firmware back to the previous version, it just restore the router settings to its manufacture default.

Hello XULACS96
Welcome to the community!
First off, this posted has been moved under Wireless N board since you have WNDR4300v2.
For your concern, since you have upgraded the firmware I suggest that you factory reset the router.
Once done, reconfigure the router to get the internet connection back then try to copy files again.

I tried the factory reset and it removed all my configurations but it did not revert back to the orignial firmware version. Is there some special instruction I need to follow when resetting back to factory that would also rollback the firmware?
