DGN2200 Replacement

Hi all. i have the DGN2200 and since it's getting a bit old i'm thinking of a replacement/upgrade ~ any suggestions? The cheaper the better!

       Which version?  Look for "Model" on the product label?

       If you keep your existing (slow DSL?) service, then what, exactly, do
    you expect a new modem+router to do for you?

       Nothing is cheaper than nothing.

     

       If you are using DSL service, then I wouldn't recommend any newer
    Netgear Dxxxx model.  Too many firmware bugs.

      sorry, my fault i guess. should have stipulated in the original post that i didn't want useless replies from assholes who think they're the wittiest thing to grace the internet.

      that cleared up, replies from anyone else would be appreciated. ta.

           I think that I see what you mean.  When the competition is someone
        whose entire list of requirements is "newer than a DGN2200 (some version
        or other)", _and_, apparently, expects specific advice, then, when it
        comes to pure hilarity, such feeble attempts as mine to elicit some
        useful information are bound to fall short.
