Different Calculation Results on WiFi vs Mobile Network Connections
Hello everyone,
I'm troubleshooting an intermittent issue on https://mauricettecalcul.fr/, a website with dynamic time-calculation tools. Some users occasionally see older page versions or outdated calculation results when connected through certain WiFi networks, while the same pages load correctly on mobile data.
I've already cleared browser and DNS caches, tested multiple devices and browsers, rebooted routers, and verified the origin server responses. The issue is difficult to reproduce consistently and doesn't generate any server-side errors.
Could router-level DNS caching, IPv6 settings, or network filtering cause different users to receive different versions of the same page? Any NETGEAR-specific troubleshooting recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I don't see how. The DNS cache only caches DNS entries, not the pages themselves.
Are you seeing any similar issues with other web servers?

I agree that DNS is not likely to play any part in this situation unless there are multiple resolutions for the URL. i.e. most of the time 82.29.87.211 is returned but occasionally the DNS resolves to some other IP address.
Is there a pattern to the problem? i.e. users with a specific ISP consistently report issues? Perhaps a time of day? (like when the web database is backed up or refreshed?)
What is Netgear specific about the issue?
- Complaints come most frequently from users with Netgear routers?
- The web server hosting is behind a Netgear router?
