DNG2200 as access point

Hi. I setup my DGN2200v4 as access point following the user manual: connected the Ethernet WAN port from LAN port on my main router. then Advanced > Advanced Setup > Wireless AP then Enable Access Point Mode > Apply. After rebooting, I expected to see only 1 wifi network (i.e., the main router network) but i still see 2 wifi networks... is it normal or am I doing something wrong?

    Access point mode isn't a mesh mode. 

    And even the mesh extenders don't function as mesh if ran in access point mode. 

    Its a seperate network with just the primary router controlling dhcp/nat. 

    You still set the wireless settings.
