Dumb question about X6
Bought an X6 and brought it down to my existing router (in the basement). Set it up via the app (and had it plugged into the router via an Ethernet cord during set up. While plugged in and all set ...
the problem is that when you set it up with the extender hardwired into the router, you're setting it up in access point mode, not extender mode.
Factory reset the extender and reinstall it without connecting it to the router. That'll set it up using extender mode.
