enable telnet on dgn2200 V1.0.0.60_7.0.57

hi all, i can't enable telnet with any telnetenable.exe or telnetenable2.exe etc...

i send this: telnetEnable.exe X.X.X.X XXXXXXXXXXXX admin password (pw is from web access).

Also with old Gearguy Geardog nothing change, still no access.

With previous firmware all was working, but now with V1.0.0.60_7.0.57 i can't access any more.

Netgear is removing the telnet backdoor from routers. But I am surprised that they are bothering with something as ancient as the decade old DGN2200. That they have put out new firmware as recently as 2000 is a bit of en eye opener.

You don't say why you want to telnet into this device. If it is a one-off move, you can revert to older firmware, do what you want, and then reapply the newer firmware.

The DGN2200 is a DSL modem/router, soyou might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
