Expanding Netgear R6220 network with another Dlink router via LAN connection

Question

Hi All,&nbsp;I have netgear R6220 router, in my earlier temporary accommodation I was using netgear router in my main hall and a dlink 819 router as repeater (wireless) in my bedroom. I have recently changed accomodation where I have too many walls and hence the wireless repeater does not work as expected. As a resolution, what I want to do is to continue using netgear router in main hall and connect my dlink router as extension via LAN cable.&nbsp;I tried to follow online steps but somehow it does not work for me.&nbsp;&nbsp;if any members could guide me to steps for this, that would be very helpful.Thanks&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

None. All at the D-Link unit for AP mode.&nbsp;

What that probably means is that you should get the manual for the Dlink router and look for help using it as an Access Point.

It is usually best to do that with the second router offline. Just connected to a PC.
&nbsp;
When you have done that, restart the network:
&nbsp;

Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on Access Point computers and rest of network.

Just another user with time on their hands.
