extender suddenly not connecting
I have been using the EX6100 wifi extender for a while now without difficulties. All of a sudden on Saturday I started having difficulties with connecting to any devices (TV, laptop, tablet). I reset my routers and the extender however it still does not work. I had done a firmware update on my Nighthawk last week but the extender was still working. Not sure how to problem solve to get extender to work. Thanks
have you tried hardwiring into it for setup using a pc/laptop?
Also, try a different browser

What router do you have it connected to?
What firmware did you install to the router?

I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7200. I had received an email from Netgear re: the firmware update.I logged into the Nighthawk and clicked on the link for the firmware update. I am not sure what the current version of the update is.
I have my Netgear extender EX6100 connected to the Nighthawk R7200.
Hope this will help you to provide me with a solution
Thanks
Log into the R7200 and the status page should show its firmware.
Same with the extender?
have you tried simply factory resetting both router and extender and doing a fresh install? Sometimes fixes issues after firmware updates.

I reset my extender: EX6100.
Unable to connect using wps
Started to use genie smart set up. I got the new extender set up page. I answered the questions and provided 2 security questions. I never got prompted for the "next" button so I could not continue with set up.
What do I need to do to proceed with setting up the extender.

Thanks for the reply. I tried for a long time using different browers and devices. Finally, when I tried a different device it worked and I was able to set up the extender.
