Factory reset N750 router, says wifi password is wrong?

I can see both wifi networks available (main and guest) but I get a wrong password error when trying to connect to either network? I tried password and also tried the old password I set up, but neither is working.
I factory reset because I changed the schedule for Christmas break but it still disappeared at 11pm like normal.
Any help is appreciated!

  • 2 things to try.

The wifi password defaults should be on the label of the device. Its not the same as the admin login/password so make sure you're looking at the correct ones.

The other thing is you can hardwire a pc/laptop into it via ethernet and access the router that route to setup the ssid/password.

  • For more help with your "N750" you might like to track down the manual. N750 is a now somewhat ancient wifi technology – the first N750 dates back to around 2010 – rather than a model number. So you'll have to look at the label on the thing to see what it really is.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.
