Frequent power cycling required to recover wireless network
During this past week, my WNDR3700v4 with firmware version V1.0.2.102 requires power cycling once or twice a day to recover my wireless network. The wireless network becomes unavailable, and cannot be selected until after the router is power cycled. Wired devices that are connected to the router do not lose LAN or Internet access. Can anyone offer a suggestion for preventing these drops of the wireless service? Is replacing the router my only option? That is what I have done in the past, but I always wonder what/how electronics wear out to cause these frequent losses of the wireless network. Thank you for any advice that you can provide!
You won't lose dual band nor speed settings. Just it will be different firmware. If you run into any issues just let me know and I'll assist you.

If you're fed up with it before you replace it you should try the third party firmware called dd-wrt on it since that router is on the list where you can use dd-wrt firmware on it. Might solve your wifi issue. Just my 10 cents.

I may try installing different firmware. Will I lose many features of my router? Dual band? Security? Speed setting?
