How to Change Ethernet network name?

Question

When I orginally changed my SSID for the wirless settings, it also changed the ethernet network name that is showing up on my windows 10. I then had to change the SSID a 2nd time (b/c I mis-spelled it the first time). The SSID changed as it should, but the ethernet network name did not chnage after that.

Is there a way to change the ethernet network name for the NETGEAR R6220 Router? and if not then how did the name get changed in the first place?

For Ethernet networks, I believe the only way to change the profile name is through the Windows registry. &nbsp;This&nbsp;article&nbsp;shows you how to do it.
