How to convert my netgear router to a range extender
Hi
I have a Jio Fiber connection which uses an JCO4032 router, i would like to convert my netgear R6220 router as a range extender and connect to my jio router wirelessly. Please let me know if there is any way to get this done.
Thanks and Regards

I get conflicting information on the R6220 about whether it supports repeating mode or not. there's some posts on the forums about people getting it working versus the manual doesn't say anything about repeater mode.

I don't have one to see if its got the features but if its in the firmware, this guide might help.

here's where you can get manuals, firmware, etc.

Thanks for the info, but the problem i am facing is that my base station is not a netgear router and was looking at an option if i can setup a connection between both of them using a wps option or any other option where my netgear router connects to the wifi in my home.

The brand does not matter. WPS is an industry standard. That's why you can use WPS to connect a printer for a phone to the wifi on a router. (Netgear doesn't make printers, or phones.) The R6220 supports WPS for those things.
The first question is does the R6220 work as a repeater? That's what plemans referred to.
As a basic device, it does not seem to. If it does, then plemans has told you where to find advice on setting it up.
The manual shows that you can Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point.
