intermittent wifi

I had a general area power cut a few weeks ago and now suffer intermittent wifi drop-out. I've contacted the ISP (Sky) who say the connection to the house is good (69Mb) and steady. I have a Sky router withe its wifi transmission switched off. The RBR50 is connected to the Shy router and there are two satellites attached. I have done a reset and switched off/disconnected and allow time before restarting. I am becoming more and more certain that the issue is the Orbi, possibly one of the satellites. Any suggestions out there to fix my problem?

  • Turning off wifi doesn't disble the router functions on the sky box.

It can cause a double nat.

Not saying thats the issue but I usually recommend fixing double nat issues first.

    options? (only use 1)

    1. put the sky box in passthrough/modem only mode.

    2. put the netgears IP address into the sky box's DMZ

    3. put the netgear in access point mode.
