Invalid Device Name error when adding an Addresss Reservation
I have two devices in my Address Reservation List which were added a long time ago.
I want to add some more to the list but I get an "Invalid Device Name" error message when clicking Apply.
This happens when I either add the details manually or from the list of connected devices.
Significantly, I even get the same error message when I click apply with just the two exisiting devices listed.
I updated the firmware to v1.0.10 this afternoon (from 1.0.6) which may or may not be an issue.
Any thoughts?

You over-estimate your ability to discern what I think. And my
ability to guess what you actually did from descriptions like "add the
details". Hence, my questions about what you actually did.

Ok, but that doesn't show anything about the info which you supplied
for an "Add" operation. (Also, there's no good reason to hide yourprivate LAN addresses.)
With my weak psychic powers, I can't tell from here, but if you
really are putting in valid/harmless values for the "IP Address", "MAC
Address", and "Device Name", and the "Add" operation fails, then you'd
seem to have either bad firmware or scrambled settings (which could
confuse otherwise-working firmware).
The usual procedure in such cases is to reset the router, and
reconfigure it manually. You can try to save some work by saving
settings, resetting, and restoring the saved settings. If that works,
then you're happy. If it fails, then you still need to try manual
reconfiguration (after another reset), because the saved settings could
have been corrupt.
When all that fails, you can try older firmware versions, to see when
things went wrong.

What did you specify as a "Device Name"? More generally, what,
exactly, did you do? Which values did you put into which boxes? Did
you see the "Device Name:" box after "IP Address" and "MAC Address"?

Which "the details"? As usual, showing actual actions with their
actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful
than vague descriptions or interpretations.

If you said "Apply" without filling in any of the information
required for a new reservation, then I would not call that failure
significant. (Expected is what I'd call it.)

Those don't look like actual firmware versions, but I'm betting more
on user error than on a firmware problem.- ChrisMKAspirant
I'm sorry you think I'm incapable of adding three pieces of information, particularly when they can be selected and added automatically from the Connected devices list, which eliminates any so called user error.
And as I pointed out, the error occurs even with the existing reserved devices in place.
However, you were correct re the firmware - it is 1.0.2.10
