Lan To Lan Connections

Would someone please help.  I have a Netgear AC1900 Nighthawk Smart Wi-Fi Router as the primary router connected to a Netgear AC1200 Model R6100 Wi-Fi Router secondary router, connection is by Lan to Lan type connection.  What I need help with is, how do I gain access to the secondary router (Netgear AC1200 Model R6100 Wi-Fi Router)?  Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

it should take less than 10 minutes

reset router 2 to defaults....leave it disconnected from network...use wired PC select AP Mode.....after reboot connect to router 1 lan to AP WAN.....login to main router and look at attached devices for AP IP address and or go to setup and use address reservations so AP gets same IP

Thank you, I sort of figure that was going to be the answer, but I was hoping there might be another way to do it.
