Lightify doesn't work with Netgear R6220

OSRAM Lightify is a smart lighting technology that hooks up devices (lightbulbs, outlets, etc.) with a Gateway that plugs into an outlet.  Ive tried connecting it numerous times and it hasn't worked.  Finally the app for set up asked to make sure my router didnt block UDP broadcasts.  Any input as to why it isn't letting the gateway connect to the router/ home network?  Thanks

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. Please make sure that the gateway is among the connected devices to the router (able to get an IP).

    3. Please make sure that you can ping the IP of the gateway.

    4. If port forwarding is required for the gateway and you have the port numbers, you can check the link below for the steps.
