login to www.routerlogin.net fails when using factory password and admin?

When I attempt to login using to www.routerlogin.net and enter admin and the factory password, it fails.
My wifi printer now gets a failed password message.
I have done a reset on the router, I can access the internet thru the router as in the pass, just now it is like the factory password changed while I was away, simply fails to login when the username admin and factory password is used.  Using the IP address, same results. I have never changed the factory password.
Please help.

  • Well I hate the simple solution that makes me an idiot but if helps others...
1.) The factory password to enter the router settings is password, the factory password to connect to the router is whatever is printed on the label at the bottom of your router.
2.) Remember that the password to use your wifi is case sensitive.  The little keypad on the printer has it's own little way of enabling caps, numbers and lower case letters.

I used the sharp end of a pen and felt the button go down.
Good suggestion, I will try again with a paper clip.
I'm ok with the factory password but for some reason my wireless printer fails to gain access and says password failed.

Perhaps I also need to complety uninstall the Epson printer and re-install.
