Make a new printer a wireless printer?

  • The wireless router was just not working as a network. Don't know why or what made it stop networking. I had to unplug it 2 or 3 times for 5 to 10 seconds before it rebooted and went online.

  • How do I do it? The first Epson all-in-one printer was working wirelessly. I just can't get the new one to do it.

      Which printer are you using?

That is what you need to configure.

The forum suggests various questions that you should answer:

Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

You have told us next to nothing about your system. You didn't even mention the brand name for your printer.

  • I did say my printer was an Epson. Epson Workforce 2650 printer. OS windows 7 firmware wnr2000v4.

      Not in your first message.

This is not an issue that really has much to do with Netgear.

Is your wnr2000v4 properly configured to broadcast an SSID?

What steps are you taking to connect the printer?

      What messages do you see?

      Where does the process fail?

Have you installed the appropriate Epson software?

Have been been through the stuff here?

      Support & Downloads - WorkForce WF-2650DWF - Epson

I repeat, this is probably an Epson issue and you have provided next to no information what you have done and where it goes wrong.

Simply asking "Make a new printer a wireless printer?" as you did in your first message is hopeless if you want informed answers.

  • It was a Netgear problem! It took my SMARTphone to tell me what was wrong. My wireless network was not working. Once I solved that problem I was able to get the printer wireless connection fixed.
