N600 as a Wifi extender
I have WNDR3400v3 N600, and i would like to connneted to my new Netgear AC1600 R6260 to work as a Wifi extender to cover the 2nd floor, i tried to connect it via the WPS but it didnt worked, So please any one can help to setup it manually, I would be more than grateful

I don't see in the manual anywhere that the WNDR3400v3 supports repeater/extender mode.
You could hardwire it in and use as an access point.

Oh so true. Perhaps Norman2000 should check the manual.

Feed in the model number and check the documentation for the hardware.
Norman2000 may have done that already. I can't tell from their message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

"tried" _how_? What did you do, press the buttons and hope?
What makes you think that a WNDR3400v3 can "work as a Wifi extender"?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"extend".If you can run an Ethernet cable (or equivalent) between the rwo
devices, then you should be able to configure the WNDR3400v3 as a
wireless acess point. Look in its User Manual for "AP Mode".
