need HD for my router

I want to add Ready Share to my Netgear WNDR4300 router. I need to find an external HD recommendation to share photographs in my home network. 1TB would work but if possible I’d like a 2TB HD. I tried to call Netgear Tech support but the guy wanted to do was to remote into my laptop. Can someone please help me?
