Need power adapter replacement for wndr4300v2 router

I bought the N750 wifi router not even a year ago and I believe the power adapter may have failed, since we can't get power to the router (I've tried plugging it into multiple outlets, but still no power), but I can't seem to find a suitable replacement adapter, so I can test my theory. Any thoughts where I can find a replacement? The output for the power adapter is 12V 1.5A.  I can find 12V 1A, but I'm not sure if that will work.

  • No, 12V 1A will not work.  The voltage (12V) and polarity (+ and - orientation on the plug) must match on the replacement, but the amperage can be greater than needed.  So, a 12V 2A would be fine.
