Netgear AC1200 A6210 adapter constantly dropping connection
Every 1-2 hours, my adapter drops connection to the internet.
No other solution or troubleshooting step I've been able to find in the support section, or here on the forums, or elsewhere has been able to solve it.
A7000 Genie indicates that my firmware is up to date, and when the connection drops, it indicates that the adapter is running normally. In order to fix it, I have to run the Windows network troubleshooting tool. Typically the troubleshooter resets the adapter and it continues working normally. Occasionally I have to reboot.
Like I said, I've tried everything listed in Netgear's official documentation for this adapter. The problem continues to happen. Please help.

I'm having the same issue with my AC1900, Model R6900P. Sometimes the connection stays for a long time, sometimes it drops it every few minutes! Very frustrating. It use to keep connections with no issues.
I've been looking for solutions as well. I did the firmware check and it said it was up-to-date as well. BUT looking at the Downloads page, I saw a different version than what my router is reporting. I had v1.3.1.64_10.1.36 but the latest is 1.3.2.126_10.1.66 !! So I downloaded that firmware and installed it manually. I also turned off the "firmware auto update" feature.
I hope this firmware fixes the issue. Other solutions I've seen was to go back to an older firmware version. But I don't know where to find one and tell whether it is stable enough to use.
Good Luck.
