Netgear AC1200
Hi All, Can someone please help. My son has locked everyone and our devices out of our Netgear AC1200 router and blocks us all day from using the internet so he may play games without lagging. I ...

"AC1200" is a speed, not a model number. Ever helpful, Netgear
product packaging emphasizes speeds like "ACxxxx", but that's not the
model identifier. Look at the label.

You may be right. Certainly some sort of discipline would be an
improvement over game playing.

Disconnect it from everything but power, and use the Reset button.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "factory settings"
and/or " reset ". Then connect one (your) device to it, and set a
non-default password. Then stop your son from performing the same
procedure.
