Netgear N600 WNDR3400v3 not full download speeds
so we have a 250Mbps down x 50Mbps up line. We just installed a Netgear N600 WNDR3400v3 and i ran speed tests and we are only reaching about 95Mbps download. The upload is consistent at 50Mbps. If we bypass the Netgear router and go straight through the modem we see higher download speeds right around 250Mbps. The N600 has been upgraded to the latest firmware and i am hardwired directly through the router and all wireless is currently disabled.
Anyone have any input?
ok so just read that this router only will do a maximum of 100Mbps wired. Could someone recommend a router that will work for my 250Mbps line? will the N900 work?

There is no N900. That is a wifi speed.
You need to look for a router that has 1000 Mbps LAN.
As you say, the WNDR3400v3 has 100BASE-Tx LAN. Most newer routers have 1000BASE.
Just browse the product pages and look for something that meets your needs.

https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/WNDR4500.aspxThat router has 1000BASE-T LAN.
