Netgear R6400 Router wifi How to change ethernet name
I want to change the ethernet connection name that was created during
original setup.
See attachment. I want to change "Hicks 2.4G"

That's windows that assigns that name. You can change it if you feel like editing the registry (danger, here be dragons).

thanks. I did that but it only changed my wireless broadcast network name. The name "Hicks 2.4G" only appears under "Ethernet" connection (cable connnected directly to Netgear R6400 router wifi) in Windows 10 "Network Connections".
