Netgear wifi router not working with Spectrum motem
I played my wifi bill late, after the company had temporarily disconnected the wifi, however when they turned it back on my 3rd party, netgear router stopped working. It turns on, theres lights next to everything except bluetooth, but theres no internet. I had already contacted Spectrum but they cant help since the device is 3rd party. I got a 3rd party one and not one from spectrum because it saved me about 10$. I should note that the router was working fantastic till now and I've tried restarting it, unplugging it, restarting the modem and the router, unplugging both then replugging, at this point im planning on replacing the router but not looking forward to the loss of money haha. Any help before I buy one?

What is the modem that connects you to Spectrum?
What is the Netgear router that you use?
Do you have an Internet connection from the modem, without the router?
1. what modem do you have?
2. what router do you have?3. what firmware is on the router?
Try this.
Disconnect the coax from the modem and power it off.
Disconnect everything from the router and power it off as well
Wait a couple minutes.
connect the coax back to the modem and then power the modem on.
Wait a couple minutes for it to fully boot.
Connect the lan cable from the modem to the wan port on the router.
power it on. and give it a couple minutes.
Try setup on the router.
