Netgear wireless N-150 Router WPN824N compromised

I just downloaded the most recent firmware today. When I run the Avast scan on my Mac it is giving me the Vulenerability ID NON-2015-0211. It says an upgrade of the device's software/firmware may fix the issue. THis is the version of firmware I currently am using...V1.0.0.22. It states that it is vulnerable to hackers. Please advise.

Gab516 The model number you have has been EOL for a long time.

Therefore, there will be no future firmware updates for the unit.

I suggest that you upgrade your router to a newer one.

Sounds like a false positive from Avast...

  At least it isn't Kaspersky blocking access to the modem completely.
