New data computer can't find the Ready-share drive on the Netgear router.
I purchased a windows 10 computer to store data for my intranet to reach from any computer and that works great. I cannot get that machine to see the drive on the netgear router. What am I missing? All the other computers in my home sees it just fine and each computer sees each other computer. The ONE machine I need the data backed up, can't see the USB drive on the router to store it's data. HELP, Don Prentice

Only SMB Direct is checked, none of the others were. :(
So configure it accordingly:
Without this - unless Netgear is going to update all Netgear routers to support both WSD _and_ SMB 3.0 (resp. anything >SMB 1.0) - you have no chance.

Use Windows Search to find for "Windows Features", scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing, untick the SMB 1.0/CIFS Automatic Removal, untick SMB 1.0/CIFS-Server. Only tick (enable) "SMB 1.0/CIFS-Client", [OK] and wait until things are updated. Now the ReadySHARE should be basically workable.

Tried running its network troubleshooter in Windows 10?
