Nighthawk 6330 giving 403 Forbidden when setting up access-control.

Attempting to block one of my LAN devices from (ever) phoning home (i.e. reaching the Internet).  In "Block Services", I select (*)Always under Services Blocking.  I then select the Add button, and (*)Only This IP Address, specifying the LAN address of the device (a Cannon printer) that I want to restrict.  For Service Type I leave "User Defined"; for Protocol I select TCP/UDP; for Starting Port and Ending Port, I have tried 1~65535, and 1-2480; for Service Type/User Defined I have entered "Any", "PhoneHome", and "Phone-Home".

In all cases, when I then select the Add button, I get a pink page with 403 Forbidden on it.

How do I fix this, or what am I doing wrong?  I just want to be able to firewall LAN-attached devices from accessing the Internet without my explicit permission and intervention!

Not the answer you want, but can you explain why you want to do this?

I ask because when troubleshooting, or trying to set something up, it helps to know what the ultimate goal is.

This IP Address, specifying the LAN address of the device (a Cannon printer) that I want to restrict.

Have you seen any indication that the Canon printer is heading out to the Internet? I have never seen any hint of unwanted excursions, but I haven't looked that hard.

How is you printer connected to the network? Wifi? USB?
