Nighthawk not connecting to Daikin adapter

I got a new router (Netgear Nighthawk R6120), and am trying to connect it to my Daikin out of home adapter to operate my air conditioning through the Daikin app.

 

My iPhone wifi recognises the Daikin AP network and will join with the password, but then says 'No Internet Connection'. I have tried turning the router on and off a couple of times with no luck.

 

The Daikin app manual says to press the WPS button, but as my router doesn't have a WPS button I'm not sure how else to get them talking to each other.

    You might do better to think of it the other way round. Daikin adapter not connecting to Nighthawk.

     

    That's because the router just puffs out the wifi that your adapter has to work with.

     

    You could start by telling people which Netgear router you are using.

     

    A more details of that this "Daikin AP network" does might also help.

    All Netgear Nighthawk routers have a WPS button. You just have to find it.
