nighthawk r6400 install wirelessly to canon printer via MAC OS 10.12.4 Does it work with MACS? We get no response at all.
Our model is not R6700 I was not given the correct option. Our model is R6400.
Then all thats needed is to check your mac OSX printer settings to make sure the added printer under Preferences is set for the new IP address that has probably changed since you installed the new router and the printer probably has a new IP address from what the old was was when it was connected on the old router. I would remove any printers you see in Preferences/Printers and then add a NEW printer and OSX should either see the available printer or add a IP printer by looking at the routers client table to see what IP address the printer is getting from the router or look at the printers status page to see what IP address it goe from the router. Just need to set up OSX for a new printer pointed at the new IP address is all. Something you can contact the Mfr about as well as they will have more help and information on this. No setup files are needed. Make sure printer drivers are updated as well.

I presume any wireless printer will print with a client PC if the PC is on the same wireless network. You'll need to check with the printers Mfr to ensure correct drivers are install on the PC and supported in the OSX version your using. They will also have infomation on how to ensure the printer is correctly installed and setup.

Thank you, FurryNutz,
Well. we tried to open download the app below and got this message.
You can’t open the application “ReadySharePrinter_setup_v1.36.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS.
Our cannon was working with Airport router so should? now. But we can't even open the app.
Any ideas?
Ya .exe is for Windows, if there isn't a .IMG or .DMG version then you'll need to contact the Mfr of the printer.
Is the printer connected wirelessly or via USB to the router?
