Nighthawk X10 AD7200 R9000 vs. AT&T BGW320
So I have a Nighthawk X10 AD7200 from about 5 years ago and just moved into a new apartment. Signed up for AT&T Fiber and they sent me a new router with installation.
Would the X10 AD7200 be worth setting up or should I just use what was given to me? It's not a huge space but the AT&T BGW320 is inside my bedroom closet...

Just give it a whirl.
The R9000 dates back to 2017. With luck the AT&T BGW320 will be a bit more modern on the wifi technology front.
If you do decide to add the R9000 – to fill a wifi gap, for example – you can't just plug it into the BGW320. That would put you into "double NAT" territory.

You'd need to do something like Access Point mode with R9000. Or you could play with Bridge Mode.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. But that could get messy. So I'd just try the BGW320.
